All Premium Remanufactured Long Blocks include: New Pistons and Rings, new main bearings, new rod bearings, new cam bearings, new oil pumps or oil pump kits, new lifters, new push rods, new long block gasket set,new expansion and oil galley plugs, new timing chain and gears and remanufactured cylinder heads. All moving components are machined or replaced.
Every block is bored and Diamond honed, all crankshafts are precision ground and polished to achieve an RA of 12 or better, all connecting rods are reconditioned and checked for straightness, all flat tappet camshafts are reground or replaced with new, all roller cams are inspected and polished.
All Remanufactured Cylinder heads have new Bronze valve guides installed, new valve seals, valves are ground and tipped for correct valve height, valve seats are precision cut to 3 angles, valve springs are inspected,tested and shimmed to insure correct pressure, aluminum heads are pressure tested, cast iron heads are magna-fluxed for cracks and finally all heads are precision surfaced for proper gasket sealing.
