Patriot Engine of Austin, Texas. Week of February 1, 2010. Vehicle: 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 with a V6 3.7 engine. Vehicle arrived with 53,000 miles on the odometer.

Engine removed had so much oil sludge you could not see any of the valves inside the cylinder heads. With only 53,000 miles the primary cause of this engine failure was lack of oil changes, obviously.

This particular job was completed in 5 business days. The warranty on this engine was 3 year – 100,000 miles Nationwide. The warranty covers parts, labor. It is also transferable if the vehicle is sold.
